実を言うと、私は人見知り。
To tell the truth, I am shyness.


だから、好きな力士と面と向かって話をするのが恥ずかしい。
Therefore I am too shy to talk to a favorite sumo wrestler face-to-face.


稽古をしていた場所を見に行くだけで精一杯。
It was all I could do to visit the place that he took a lesson of.


応援できるだけで幸せ。
I am happy just to be able to support him.


怪我をしないで、一日でも長く土俵に上がってほしい。
I wish that he is not hurt and stands on the sumo ring as long as possible.


でも、千秋楽に大怪我してた！
But he was injured seriously on the last day of a sumo tournament!


額を切って出血！
He cut a forehead and bled!


大丈夫かな。
I'm uneasy.


どうか早く怪我が治りますように！
I wish that his injury be healed early!

大相撲大阪場所2010 the Osaka sumo tournament

さすがに千秋楽とあって賑やかでした。

As was expected, there were many people because it was the last day of a sumo tournament.

溜まり席の５列目だったので、驚くほど土俵が近かったです。

Because my seat was the fifth line from the front, a sumo ring was surprisingly near me.

動揺して写真を一枚も撮ることができませんでした。（いろんな意味で）

I was upset and was not able to take a photograph at all.

帰りに乗ったタクシーの運転手さんの話では、毎朝６時頃から稽古していたそうです。

By the story of the taxi driver who got on a return, they seem to have practiced from about 6:00 a.m.

春色尾道 Spring Onomichi

Onomichi is a town with many slopes.

都会から尾道へ移住してくる若者も多い。

There are many youths emigrating to Onomichi from the city.

映画「パリオペラ座の全て」を観ました。
I watched movie "All of Paris Opera ballet".

















ステージを作るのに沢山の人が関わっています。
A lot of people take part in making stages.
















ほとんどのダンサーが名声を得ることのないコールドバレエとしてバレエ人生を終えます。
There are a lot of dancers who finish the ballet life as a corps de ballet without getting fame.

しかし、有名なダンサーにも、それなりの苦しみがあります。

However, a famous dancer has the suffering in its own way.

パリオペラ座のバレエダンサーの定年は40才だそうです。

40 years old seem to be retirement ages of the ballet dancer at the Paris Opera ballet.
