「明け荷」 "Akeni"

写真の右に写っている箱は「明け荷」というものです。

The box appearing in the right side of the photograph is called "Akeni".

「明け荷」とは、簡単に言うと、力士の旅行かばんです。

To put it simply, "Akeni" is the traveling bag of the sumo wrestler.

化粧まわし（写真左）や取組用のまわし、備品などを入れます。

They puts the Kesho-Mawashi (left-side of the photograph) , the Mawashi for a match, small articles in it.

「明け荷」は、関取しか持つことができません。

Only Sekitori can have "Akeni".
