筍料理 Bamboo shoot food

朝堀りの筍をいただいたので、土佐煮と筍御飯を作ってみました。

I made "the boiled like Tosa" and "the boiled rice with bamboo shoots", because I got bamboo shoots which were dug this morning.

土佐煮というのは、鰹節と一緒に炊いた煮物のことを言います。

"The boiled like Tosa" is the cooking used dried bonito for.

新鮮でアクがなく柔らかいので、薄めに味付しました。

They were fresh, and not lye, and soft, so I seasoned a little.

先月の大相撲大阪場所のとき、お茶屋さんのお土産に付いてた小鉢に盛ってみました。

I served it in a small bowl of the souvenir which I was given by the middleman at time of the Osaka sumo tournament last month.

筍御飯をよそったＭＹ茶碗は萩焼きで、永地博正さんという作家さんのものです。

My rice bowl is a work of Hiromasa Nagatochi in Hagi ceramic ware.

姫さま my princess

バレエ教室に私より５歳年上の人がいます。

There is the woman who is 5 years old older than me in the ballet classroom.

とても綺麗で、先生たちも羨ましがるくらいです。

She is very beautiful and is admired by teachers.

体も柔らかく、まるでバレエをするために生まれてきたような人です。

She has a pliant body too as if has been born for ballet.

とても上品で、かつては「姫さま」と呼ばれていました。

She was very graceful and therefore was ever called "a princess".

私は姉のように慕って、バレエの目標にしました。

I adored her like an older sister and set a target of ballet.

姫さまは恵まれた才能のおかげで、これまで怪我らしい怪我をしたことがありませんでした。

Thanks to natural talent, she has not been hurt in ballet so far.

でも、そんな姫さまが先週のレッスン中、右のふくらはぎに怪我をしたのです。

However, she was hurt in the calf of her right leg during a lesson last week.

病院の診断の結果、肉離れでした。

As a result of diagnosis at the hospital, it seems to be a pulled muscle.

やはり姫さまでさえも年齢には逆らえないんですね。

After all she also cannot go against age.

私などは、体のケアについて、もっと真剣に考えなければいけないなぁ。

I must think more seriously about the care of my body.

He taught at the Sapporo agricultural school.
