帰宅しました。 I came home.

泉湧寺と東福寺へ行く予定でした。
I was going to go to Sennyuji and Tohfukuji.

しかし、股関節が痛かったので、予定を変更しました。
However, I gave it up because I had a pain in a hip joint.

だからどこへも行かないで帰路につきました。
Therefore I left for home without going to where.

素晴らしい旅でした。
It was a wonderful trip.

そして京都の夏の暑さを実感した旅でした。
And it was the trip that realized heat of the summer of Kyoto.

一緒に旅した靴。
The shoes which went on a trip together.
