ヴィーナスの日 "a day of Venus"

１９０年前（１８２０年）の今日、ギリシャのミロス島で大理石のヴィーナス像が発見されたそうです。

それで、今日４月８日は「ヴィーナスの日」らしいです。

So, today(April 8) seems to be "a day of Venus".

ちなみに、ラテン語では金曜日のことを「ヴィーナスの日」というそうです。

By the way, it seems that the Latin for Friday is "dies Veneris".
